The 2024 FIATA HQ Meeting, held in the “Peace Capital” Geneva, under the theme “Uniting for Resilience” was successfully concluded. From April 23-26, the event attracted over 250 participants who delved into 45 key industry topics across 15 engaging workshops.
A media briefing on the Global Air Cargo Program was given to media based in Europe, by our association’s President, Ato Dawit Woubishet, who also serves as Chairman of the FIATA Airfreight Institute, together with FIATA President Mr. Turgut Erkeskin and Director General Dr. Stéphane Graber.
Our Association presented its official bid document to the FIATA Extended Board, contesting to host the prestigious 2027 FIATA World Congress in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This bid positions EFFSAA against esteemed FIATA association member from the Czech Republic, Brazil, and Israel. The final decision will be announced at the upcoming 2024 FIATA World Congress, taking place in Panama this September.
