The importance of FBL for Ethiopian logistics was previously highlighted by FIATA Director General Dr. Stéphane Graber during his visit to Addis Ababa in July 2023. This new agreement brings that discussion to fruition, empowering Ethiopian freight forwarders to compete on a global scale.
Founded in 1926, FIATA is a prominent non-governmental organization representing over 40,000 freight forwarding and logistics companies across 150 countries. With 114 national member associations, FIATA plays a vital role in promoting global trade and setting industry standards.
