Ethiopian Freight Forwarders and Shipping Agents Association (EFFSAA) held talks with the delegation of Nigeria Customs Command & Staff College.
EFFSAA warmly received the delegation which has 13 members and who came along with the members of Ethiopian Customs Commission on Thursday 28th of October 2021 at its conference hall. After a welcoming note and an opening speech delivered by Ato Sielesh Kassie, member of EFFSAA Board of Directors & Port and Multimodal Affairs Technic Committee and W/ro Abeba Kiros, Directorate Director of Strategic Partnership of Ethiopian Customs Commission, a brief introduction was conducted between the participants.
The overall activities and other related aspects of EFFSAA was presented by Ato Anteneh Alemu, member of the Board of Directors and Chairperson of Customs Technic Committee of the Association. Following Ato Antenehโs presentation, discussion was held between the delegation and the board members of the Association.
The past President of EFFSAA and current chairperson-elect of Region Africa and Middle East (RAME) of FIATA, Ato Salahadin Khalifa and EFFSAA board members answered for different questions raised by the members of the delegation.
Nigeria Customs Command & Staff College conducts its annual African Study Tour in different countries of Africa. So far, the program happened in Congo Brazzaville, Ghana and Rwanda and Ethiopia is selected for the current year. The delegation held the session from 25-28 October, 2021 under the theme โHarnessing International Cooperation for Sustainable Supply Chain Managementโ
