Azmera Tadesse is the General Manager of Champion Shipping Plc. She is the board member of Ethiopian Freight Forwarders and Shipping Agents Association (EFFSAA) and Ethiopian Logistics Community of Practice (ELCoP).

Azmera has more than 23 years of rich and vast experience in the logistics sector out of which over 15 years of her professional tenure was at the former Ethiopian Shipping Lines (ESL). She served the prominent national carrier Ethiopian Shipping Lines, in different positions. Before joining the private logistics company, her last post at ESL was Shipping Manager.

Besides to serving EFFSAA as a board member, Azmera is a certified Trainer of the internationally recognized FIATA Diploma at the training center of the Association.

She earned her M.Sc. in Transport and Maritime Management from Antwerp University in Belgium, Certificate in Logistics and Freight Transport Planning from Hamburg, Germany, Certificate in International Management, Hamburg, Germany, Certificate of Training of Trainers (ToT) for FIATA Diploma, Addis Ababa, Certificate on Warehouse Management, Addis Ababa and B.A in Management from Addis Ababa University.
