Salahadin Khalifa is the Vice Chairman for Region Africa and Middle East (RAME) – FIATA International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association since January 2021. Salahadin served Ethiopian Freight Forwarders and Shipping Agents Association for 8 years 10 months in various positions. He was Vice President from January 2010 – May 2017 and President of the Association from May 2017 – October 2018. He led FIATA-RAME 2016 Conference Organizing Committee from October 2015 – December 2016; one of the most successful events in the history of EFFSAA. He is now the chairman of EFFSAA’s Training Committee.

Salahadin is the Founder and General Manager of Samatra Logistics & Shipping Plc, one of the biggest Logistics company in Ethiopia, which was established in October 1993, Red Door Art Gallery & Apartments, Sachem Import & Export Plc, MCC Group Ethiopia and Director of Kadisco Asian Paints and Adhesives Share Co. Moreover, he is currently the Board Chairman of Children’s Heart Fund of Ethiopia & Cardiac Centre of Ethiopia, Equinox Property Developers Plc and the member of the Board of Directors of ZamZam Bank S.C. He is also the Logistics and Economic advisor of the Embassy of Belgium in Ethiopia since January 2014.

He was the Vice President of World Business Logistics Network; a very well-known logistics network based in Switzerland, from April 2018 – December 2020, Secretary of Ethiopian Chemical Products Manufacturers Association from January 2000 – January 2009 and the board member of Mary Joy for Development from January 2003 – July 2017.

Salahadin acquired his MBA in Business Administration, Marketing/Marketing Management, General from The University of Birmingham, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Project Management from American University in London and Diploma in International Trade Logistics and Finance from Sandwell College. He attended his secondary school at in Ellesemere College, Shropshire, England.
